Terry Ishee has been helping others live out the mission of God for over 23 years. He is an ordained minister and has been on staff at churches of varying models, from a large suburban church to a small incarnational-missional church, Neighborhood Church Collective in South Austin, where he is currently the lead pastor. Working in all types of ministry, from children to youth to adult, helped prepare Terry for the challenge of church planting, and he has a passion for coaching others through this experience. Terry and his wife Amy have a daughter, Bethany. and they serve as foster parents as well, another way they want to love God and love people. Terry enjoys meeting with other pastors, helping them see the value in planting churches throughout Austin and surrounding areas, and guiding them through this process. He agrees with David Bosch, influential missiologist and theologian best known for his book Transforming Mission: Paradigm Shifts in Theology of Mission, who says, “Mission is more and different from recruitment to our brand of religion; it is the alerting people to the universal reign of God through Christ."
