Serve
Join our local volunteer team. Complete orientation, pick a specialty, and be ready when the call comes — here at home or across Texas.
When a storm, flood, or fire upends a family in Central Texas, WBA churches are trained and ready to show up — with chainsaws, mud-out crews, hot meals, and a listening ear. As part of our Restore ministry, we bring help, hope, and healing in Christ’s name. WBA doesn’t do this alone: our churches plug directly into Texas Baptists’ statewide response network, so a family in Williamson County gets the same trained, credentialed help deployed after any major Texas disaster.
Network: Texas Baptists (BGCT)
Coordinated through: Texans on Mission
Local hub: Crestview Baptist Church, Georgetown
Volunteer coordinator: Charles Baker

Fuel the response
Gifts to WBA and to Texans on Mission keep chainsaws sharp, trailers stocked, and teams ready to roll the moment a call comes in.

Lift them up.
Pray for survivors, for our devoted volunteers in the field, and for open doors to share the hope of the gospel in the middle of loss.
Every Disaster Relief volunteer is trained and credentialed through Texans on Mission, the disaster relief arm of Texas Baptists. No experience is needed — just a willing heart.
Take Texans on Mission’s Disaster Relief Orientation at a training weekend (including Central Texas sessions) or online. A background check is part of the process.
Reach out through WBA and we’ll connect you with Charles Baker and the Crestview team. Members of any WBA church are welcome.
When a disaster strikes, tell your coordinator when you’re available to serve. Deployments can be a day or a week.
